Spray your piercing with sterile saline spray for 5 seconds, two times per day. We recommend morning and night, but as long as it is two times, your piercing will be happy!
Blow dry your piercing any time it is wet! Moisture is bad news for healing piercings, so make sure the piercing is staying nice and dry.
Hands off! Do not touch your piercing for any reason. That means no spinning, twisting, or turning your jewelry. (even if you did that when you were a kid)
It is also important to avoid snagging or catching your piercing on things like clothing, towels, or your hair. This hurts a lot, and can cause long-lasting problems that are tough to solve!
Stick with saline. It might be tempting to use other products like rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on your healing piercing. But we promise they will only hurt you!
Avoid sleeping on your piercing!!! Sleeping on your piercing during the healing process is one of the worst things you can do for it. We know it is hard to avoid, but using things like travel pillows or hair clips will make not sleeping on it soooo much easier!
Stay out of the pool. Pools, lakes, ponds, rivers, hot tubs, etc are full of bacteria. Submerging your healing piercing into any of them can cause horrible side effects, so just don't do it, please!
Don't forget to downsize! Downsizing is an important part of the healing process. It happens once your swelling has gone down, and your post starts to get snagged more often. Just come in and ask to have the post downsized, we will take care of the rest!

Water is your best friend! Anytime you eat, drink, smoke, kiss, etc, make sure you rinse your mouth out with clean water.
Avoid eating things that hurt. This will include super spicy food, super acidic food, or anything that breaks into tiny little pieces that could irritate your piercing.
