Hi, I’m Tom. I co-own Olive with my partner, Anna, and I have been piercing professionally since 2012. I was born and raised in Rochester, and it means a lot to be building something here in my hometown. I’m excited to watch Olive grow over the years and to create a welcoming space where people can feel good about themselves.
My favorite part of piercing is seeing the happiness it brings to others. I especially enjoy working on large gauge piercings and anything that complements the natural anatomy of the ear.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m usually playing pool somewhere, woodworking, or spending time with my animals.

Hi! I’m Anna. I am an owner of Olive along with my partner, Tom. I have been in a front of house role in the piercing industry for about 10 years. I started my journey getting pierced at Cowpok in Buffalo in 2012 and became fully enamored. I have worked in studios in Boulder, Denver, Buffalo and Rochester. I will be the person helping you pick your perfect piece of jewelry, whether that’s in studio or creating a custom order just for you.
When I’m not here at Olive, I am probably spending time with my dog Olivia (Benson), reading my next book club pick, or watching the Sopranos for the 100th time.

My love of piercing began almost a decade ago in Buffalo, which led me to obtain an apprenticeship under Tom three years ago. I love gender-affirming piercings, making kids laugh with my antics, and anything rose gold.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and hanging out with my partner and our two cats. I’m super excited to be working closely with Tom and Anna to make Olive a welcoming and comfortable environment for everyone!
